Armor Project I by Nviermor Armor Project I by Nviermor
This is a shot of the mostly finished armor with the cloth for the costume underneath. There are still no straps and extra leaf details yet.

I just wanted to say how incredibly amazing this is. I've never seen wooden armour before, and you've done it all so beautifully! i love that you've worked with the natural beauty of the wood, as opposed to masking it or trying to make it look like something else. Definitely worthy of high court fae!

Unfortunately not as of yet. This is sort of my prototype (and advertising costume). I'm saving up for some extra equipment that might make it possible though. For now it's very time/labor intensive to make by hand, hehe

Since your comment is from 2009: Have things changed? Is it possible to be bought by now?

Thank you! I'm working on adding a few bits here and there. Currently in the midst of carving up some digigrade stilts =) Hopefully in the coming weeks I'll have more pics to post =)
